Dani Phantom

Well, I got a new tool (or more accurately toy) in my arsenal of poorly used art supplies... A Surface Pro. And, thusly armed, felt the need to try it out on some arts. Drawing digitally from scratch has had some half decent results, but this one was a pencil sketch first, chosen for it's simple design and lines. While the tablet works great, my lack of any digital artistry in more years than I can conveniently count certainly was apparent! Eventually I gave up, and here's the result... my first coloring attempt in a long, long time.

As for the subject matter, I always liked Danielle/Dani Phantom. She was a unique an interesting character, and I thought she had a lot of potential... potential that sadly went unexplored in the show itself.

Dani Phantom was created by Butch Hartman and is a trademark of Nickelodeon, if I'm not mistaken.
