Dryad Warrior

Has it really been almost a year since I've uploaded anything?  Wow, I'm the worst...

Speaking of WoW, I've been playing it again!  And speaking of playing it again, I was reminded of my old declaration... that the only thing that would get me back into WoW was the introduction of a playable dryad race option.  So, that declaration was wrong.  But I'd still rather be a dryad!  Of course I know why Blizzard is almost guaranteed to never introduce such a playable race... tons of technical problems that would take way too much money to squash... not that they don't have the money for it, but I'm sure they'd rather spend it on other, more profitable things.

But as I imagined all the many reasons, why dryads are unlikely to join the ranks of playable races, I started picturing the trials of an earnest and eager young dryad trying her darndest to become a hero... and those pictures were pretty funny.  Will I ever actually make a comic out of this idea?  Possibly!  But in the meantime, here's my character design (first pass) for the heretofore unnamed hero of the story.  Anyone got any good lore-friendly name ideas?

Turns out it's been so long since I translated anything from paper to computer that all my settings, brushes, tablet drivers and other miscellania have been lost... so this isn't quite as carefully cleaned up as usual.
